Lito Lapid approves of daughter Ysabel Ortega's switch to GMA

Senator Lito Lapid has given his blessings on his daughter Ysabel Ortega's decision to transfer to GMA 7.

In a media conference on Thursday, Ysabel said, "Nag-usap kami sa phone. I told him na lilipat ako, na nandito na ako sa Kapuso network."

"He's very happy for me, and no matter what, he wishes me well sa career ko," the actress added.

Ysabel is the daughter of Lito Lapid and Department of Social Welfare and Development assistant secretary Michelle Ortega, who in 2018 married former Director Gregorio Pimentel, then head of the PNP Directorate for Intelligence in Baguio City.

Ysabel transferred to the Kapuso Network just this year.

Currently, she has an upcoming drama series with Alden Richards called "The Gift" which will premiere this September. —LBG, GMA News
