At Tuesday's press conference of "Hello, Love, Goodbye," Alden Richards shared he first met Daniel Padilla — the boyfriend of his leading lady Kathryn Bernardo in the highly anticipated movie — after the month-long shoot in Hong Kong.
According to Alden, he and Daniel first spoke to each other when the latter visited the former in his tent during a shooting in Manila.
The first time we met, officially nung nag-usap kami, nung pumunta si DJ sa tent ko.
The Kapuso actor said that while they did see each other in Hong Kong, they didn't get the chance to talk.
At their meeting, Alden said Daniel even congratulated him for the film.
He added that Daniel was in full support for the movie, even thanking him for taking care of Kathryn during their month-long shoot in Hong Kong.
Meanwhile, Kathryn was asked by the media on what was Daniel's first reaction when he found out that she will be paired with Alden.
She said, "Siyempre nagulat kasi ako rin nagulat nung sinabi nila na baka si Alden nga."
Kathryn said she told Daniel the news right after she found out. "Sinabi ko rin na kung tatanggapin ko 'to medyo matagal mawawala kasi lock-in po talaga kami doon sa Hong Kong so hindi naging madali."
Because they've been paired together for almost a decade, Kathryn said it was a big adjustment for her and Daniel.
Doon ko siya laging na-appreciate," she said.
According to Kathryn, Daniel showed even more support when he personally met the Kapuso actor.
“Hello, Love, Goodbye” opens on cinemas on July 31. With Alden and Kathryn are Lovely Abella, Joross Gamboa, Kakai Bautista, Maymay Entrata, Jameson Blake and Jefferey Tam. — LA, GMA News
