Kim Domingo not ready for another relationship, wants to focus on her new GMA teleserye

Kim Domingo said on Monday she's not ready for another relationship, almost one month after her breakup with boyfriend Mike Acuna.

"Magwa-one month na. ‘Wag na muna," Kim told entertainment reporters in an interview after the press launch of their newest GMA afternoon horror psycholgical drama series "Hanggang sa Dulo ng Buhay Ko" on Monday.

Although there are suitors making themselves felt, the Kapuso star said she wants to focus first on her new project and prepare for the role given to her.

"Gusto ko po muna mag-focus sa trabaho, lalo na dito siyempre ‘yong magiging twist ng character ko malaki so kailangan ko paghandaan at mag-focus po ako," Kim said.

She clarified that their breakup had nothing to do with career or a third party.

In late June, Kim used the hashtag #SingleButHappy for several of her Instagram posts.

Kim said she's honored to have the chance to work with veteran actor Boots Anson-Roa.

"Sobrang bait po lalo na si Tita Boots. Masaya ako na naka-work ko kasi may mga nakukuha ako na mga  technique so very happy ako," Kim said. "‘Yon nga katulad ng sabi ko kay Megan, kay Kris, first time ko kasi maka-work."

She said her character will have a different twist that she can't reveal yet, "'Yon ‘yong dapat talagang abangan."

Kim will star with other fellow Kapuso and celebrities including Kris Bernal, Megan Young, Rayver Cruz, Boots Anson-Roa, Francine Prieto, Sharmaine Arnaiz and Beverly Salviejo.

"Hanggang Sa Dulo Ng Buhay Ko" will premiere on July 22 after Eat Bulaga replacing "Dragon Lady." — LA, GMA News
