Sanya Lopez says she's proud of starting out as an 'extra'

Sanya Lopez is proud of her humble beginnings.

The Kapuso actress is best known for her role as Encantadia's Sang'gre Danaya, which propelled her to stardom, but Sanya reflects on her earlier experiences with pride.

Sanya said she's proud about being an "extra" at the beginning.

“I am proud that I started as an ‘extra’. There’s nothing wrong in playing the bit roles," she said.

"In fact, those with lead and bit roles are equally important as they complete the puzzle of a good story,” she added.

The 22-year-old was tapped to be Fair Magazine's cover girl for June to July.

She is currently taking on a more daring role in the series "Dahil Sa Pag-Ibig."
