Lovi Poe turns up at prestigious Royal Ascot with hot date

Lovi Poe can now say she had a day at the races without a trace of irony.

The Kapuso star — or should we say "Her Royal Chicness"? — turned up at the Royal Ascot in England, one of the world's most prestigious horse races, and a major social event among the British elite.

Well, Lovi did not only grace the event with all the elegance in the world, she did so with a hot date.

Her date was identified as Montgomery Blencowe, an English film producer. He had popped up on rare occasions on Lovi's Instagram feed with other friends.

The two, dressed to the nines, seemed to have had a swell time in the fancy event.

In her Instagram, the actress shared photos of their time there. Apparently, they placed their bets on a horse named “Pinatubo”.

"Of course, I’d pick anything with a Filipino association and it won!" she said.
