Eddie Garcia in critical condition due to severe cervical fracture, doctor says

Eddie Garcia is in critical condition due to severe cervical fracture, Dr. Enrique Lagman, his family doctor, said in a statement released on Sunday afternoon.

Bibeth Orteza, a good friend of Eddie Garica, sent GMA Network the statement of Dr. Lagman, which said, “the doctors ruled out the first heart attack and stroke prognosis made at around 2pm, after those were disproven by several validating tests done in Mary Johnston Hospital later in the evening.”

“The family requests for prayers and asks for privacy in this moment,” the statement ended.

On Saturday, the 90-year-old veteran actor was reported to have suffered a heart attack while taping for an upcoming GMA show.
