LJ Reyes gets early Mother's Day surprise from son Aki

LJ Reyes has received a touching surprise from her son Ethan Akio.

The Kapuso actress shared a photo in her Instagram of the two of them at the beach, with a box of Pocky and flowers.

"It’s actually his favorite! Maybe it’s his way of sharing what he loves with me. I remember when he was little, we would share Pocky just like this!" LJ captioned.

But sweeter than the snack is the "I love you, mommy" that Aki wrote on the box.

"I don’t know if you can see it but he wrote on the box I LOVE YOU MOMMY! Happy Mother’s Day indeed!" LJ said.

The actress had recently opened up about the struggles of being a single mom to Aki, who is now 8 years old.
