Ali Sotto on her FAMAS award: 'Women Empowerment ang tema ngayong taon'

Ali Sotto, dzBB anchor, was recognized at the FAMAS awards Sunday night, taking home the Dr. Jose R. Perez Memorial Award for Journalism.

On Instagram, the radio anchor thanked the academy “for the singular honor of having been given the Dr. Jose R. Perez Memorial Award for Journalism.”

Fellow Kapuso Bianca Umali took home the German Moreno Memorial Youth Achievement Award, while actress and director Laurice Guillen was one of three who was given the Lifetime Achievement Award.
