But Dingdong said he is more than ready to take part of the role. “More than very physically prepared, I’m emotionally, spiritually prepared, lalo na napaka espesyal nito,” Dingdong said, adding he is more motivated now that he has a brand new inspiration: their newborn Baby Ziggy.
“Iba yung inspirasyon ko ngayon at hugot ngayong chapter nitong buhay ko,” he added.
Dingdong expressed how grateful he feels that he was given such a huge project: “Masayang masaya ako na pinagkatiwala sakin 'tong project na ‘to.”
According to Dingdong, he fell in love with the story after watching the original series.
But the actor kept mum about his co-stars in the Filipino adaptation of DOTS.
In the Korean drama series, the Big Boss role was played by Korean actor Song Joong-ki.
