Kyline opens up about nearly quitting showbiz

Kyline Alcantara almost quit showbiz because of numerous frustrations in the past.

The Inagaw Na Bituin star made the confession in a #RealTalk video with GMA Public Affairs.

"A lot of times, ang dami na pong rejections and ang dami nang negative thoughts, negative reactions na na-absorb ko and nasasabi sa akin, so siyempre natural reaction din po siguro na I want to quit, I just want to quit, ayoko na ma-encounter lahat ng negativity na 'to," Kyline said.

But Kyline ended up making the decision to carry on. She eventually transfered to GMA-7, where she became a breakout star after being cast in Kambal Karibal.

The 16-year-old Kapuso teen star also said she wanted to become an inspiration to her fellow young ones.

"I just want to inspire the youth na 'wag mag-isip ng kung ano ano na masama sa sarili mo cause that will distract you to do good, to do better," she added. —Jannielyn Ann Bigtas/JST, GMA News
