Filipino-Canadian star Shay Mitchell has arrived in Manila

Filipino-Canadian star Shay Mitchell has arrived in Manila on Sunday.

Shay tweeted, "Hello Manila" complete with triple exclamation points, an emoji of a high five and the Philippine flag emoji. She pinned her location in Makati City.

The "Pretty Little Liars" star is in the country to promote her new Netflix Original series "YOU" with co-star Penn Badgley, who will also be gracing the two-day Philippine event.

On their first day (January 14), Penn and Shay will meet with select members of the media, after which the stars will have a special fan event on January 15, Tuesday, at a pop-up "Mooney's" shop,  5:30 p.m. at The Greenbelt Gallery, 2nd level, Greenbelt 5.

"YOU" follows the story of a bookstore manager Joe Goldberg (Penn) as he falls inlove with writer Beck (Elizabeth Lai), Joe then stalks Beck, both on social media and in real life, he observes her daily life from afar, which made his feelings quickly switch up from an awkward crush to obsession.
