Atom Araullo teases mom Carol about being ‘artistahin’ in her youth

Atom Araullo is primarily a journalist, but perhaps his brief foray into acting was inevitable.

Promotional materials for a movie featuring characters from the University of the Philippines has led to the unearthing of old photos of Atom's mom Carol Pagaduan, who seems to have the "artistahin" gene. 

Upon being shown a tweet comparing her to actor Liza Soberano, Carol was quick to say that "Mas maganda naman si Liza." 

Atom took to Twitter to share a humorous exchange between him and his mom about the topic.

"Fishing" aside, people responded to the original tweet to say that Atom's mom has many other admirable qualities. Being pretty is just a bonus. — AT, GMA News
