Jackie Lou says she can't imagine being in any other network but GMA

It's where she belongs.

In an article published on PEP.ph Wednesday, veteran Kapuso actor Jackie Lou Blanco said she doesn't see herself being in any other network but GMA-7.

Despite appearing in shows in other networks, Jackie considers herself a Kapuso at heart, making it official in 2016 with a contract with GMA Artist Center.

"Even noong hindi pa ako part ng Artist Center, I always considered myself a Kapuso kasi I really started with GMA, e. Not that hindi ako nakagawa sa ABS, nakagawa din ako but karamihan talaga ng ano ko, it’s all GMA," Jackie told James Patrick Anarcon of PEP.ph during an interview at the Walk of Fame event in Eastwood City.

Jackie said she's at the point of her life where she wants to settle things down.

"At this point in my life, in my age, parang I’m happy where I am," Jackie said.

The actor said, GMA-7 respects her as an actor. Besides, she's also always given good projects, be them big or small.

"I’m always being given good roles, I'm always taken care of, whether the role is maikli o mahaba, it’s always a good role. I know that they respect me and I’m giving back the same. I really cannot imagine myself being with another network, anyway," she said.

"I’m just full of gratitude and I’m happy where I am, so feeling ko there’s really no reason for me to go elsewhere," she added.

Though she has a contract with GMA Artist Center, she is still allowed to guest in other TV shows.

"Hindi soap [opera]. Pwede mag-guest sa 'Ipaglaban Mo,' pero with their approval pa [rin]. Tama rin naman."

Jackie Lou will star in the upcoming GMA-7 afternoon series "Inagaw na Bituin" which will premiere on January 2019. — Jannielyn Ann Bigtas/LA, GMA News
