Dennis Trillo has a thank you 'speech' after winning the Best Actor award at the MMFF

Because he was sick and had to miss the awarding ceremony on Thursday, his manager Popoy Caratitivo accepted the award in his behalf.

On Instagram, Dennis wrote a meaningful ‘speech’ in Tagalog, first recalling his very first acting award 14 years ago and then thanking everyone involved in “One Great Love.”
Of course, what is a thank you speech without a shout out to ones beloved, in this case, Kapuso celebrity Jennylyn Mercado.
“Ang lahat ng ito ay hindi ko magagawa kung hindi sa tulong ng lahat ng mga mahal ko sa buhay. Salamat sa inyong pag aalaga at pagmamahal sakin, lalu na kay @mercadoJenny,” read a portion of his message.
In a separate post, Dennis shared a photo of himself from 14 years ago, when he received his very first acting award.
