‘On The Job 2’ release plans have been announced
Entertainment rag Variety comes bearing huge news about 2013 explosive movie hit, Director Erik Matti's "On The Job (OTJ)."
“On The Job 2 is currently filming and is due to complete principal photography by February 2019, with a view to releasing it in the Philippines on June 12, 2019, the country’s independence day,” Variety reports.
“This will be followed by a five-part series,” it adds.
Director Erik Matti told Variety of his plan for a four-hour concise version that will incorporate the film and the five-part TV series. “That would be a feat. And I don’t know if we can do something with it theatrically or in festivals.”
News about OTJ becoming a series erupted in 2016, but in March 2018, it was reported to be have been replanned as a movie, instead.
“Solid ang OTJ 2,” Musical director Erwin Romulo tells GMA News Online. “It’s Erik’s angriest work.”
