Momoland on their return to the PHL: 'The best part is getting to meet our Merries'

Korean girl group Momoland is back in Manila and during their press conference on Monday, said that the best part of their stay in the Philippines is meeting their Filipino Merries.

"It's our second time in the Philippines, our favorite part of being in the Philippines is definitely getting to meet our 'Merries' in the Philippines. It's not everyday that we get to see our fans, so when we're here, the best part is getting to meet our fans, our Merries," Daisy told the media at a press conference in Quezon City.

Fan favorite and the "Maknae" of the group, Nancy, shares the same sentiment saying they have missed their Filipino Merries.

"We really missed you guys, and we really want to meet you guys in person," Nancy said.

Eight Momoland members — Nancy, JooE, Ahin, Hyebin, Daisy, Nayun, Taeha and Jane — were present at the press event, where Momoland was introduced as Frontrow International ambassadresses.

According to Frontrow President RS Francisco, Yeon Woo was not able to join the group as she was advised to stay in Korea due to a high fever.

Meanwhile, Taeha said she's excited to share her "happiness and energy" to all Filipinos.

Apart from their fan meet at Smart Araneta Coliseum on January 25, 2019, Momoland will also have an exclusive fan meet organized by Frontrow International on December 3, after which the group will stage a free mini concert at Tamag Grounds, Vigan City in Ilocos Sur on December 9. — LA, GMA News
