Solenn Heussaff gives a house tour of the new 'Casa #SosBolz,' shares DIY interior design tips
Kapuso actor Solenn Heussaff gave a tour of the new "Casa #SosBolz" in a video that was filmed a week after she and her husband Nico Bolzico moved into their new house.
The video was posted on her blog, where she also shared some tips on how to DIY the interior design of your own home.
Solenn toured the 4-year-old house that the couple renovated, showing the living room, the TV room, the outdoor area where Patato will have his own house, a guest room, the master's bedroom, kitchen, and her mini walk-in closet.
She said she did not hire an interior designer this time, deciding to design and organize everything on her own because she wanted the look and feel of her place to have some personal touches to make it feel like a real "home."
"I believe a house has to be a HOME. It has to feel cozy and personal. So if any of you are thinking of decorating your own home, I wrote down some of my personal tips. You can also watch the video below to see me 'in action.' Lol," Solenn wrote.
One of the features she also showed is the "future baby room," where she was quick to clarify that she is not pregnant.
"And what people have been waiting for. This is not my coming out video, and no I'm not pregnant. This is my future baby room."
She said she's still thinking of what to have in the room temporarily since she doesn't want to "jinx" it.
"Right now there is nothing and I don't want to jinx it so I'm think I'm going to make it into an art studio or maybe put a treadmill or something, I've literally been in this house for a week so there."
Some of the tips she gave included how to de-clutter, how to check the electrical, piping and drainage functions, how having plants gives your place a little life, how to invest in a good mattress and kitchen appliances, and that one all-important accent in every room. — Jannielyn Ann Bigtas/LA, GMA News
