Gabbi Garcia's grandfather passes away: ‘Hug Jesus for me, lolo’

Kapuso star Gabbi Garcia on Thursday on Instagram shared the news that her grandfather has passed away. 

Gabbi posted photos of them dancing from her debut and shared with her followers the wonderful gift he was in her life. 

 

My dearest Lolo, you were such a blessing to all of us. You are the most generous and kind hearted person I know. I will miss you and your silly jokes, and how you would go from neighbor to neighbor just to announce that “GABBI GARCIA IS MY APO!” ?? It’s crazy how you would shower your love and support to all of us, and I'm so happy that I still got to say I love you before you went to heaven. You have lived a good life, Lolo. Marami ka pong natulungan, napasaya, pinatawa, at minahal. It's time to rest now. Hug Jesus for me, lolo ?? I'm sure you're happy. I love you forever. Rest in peace.

She recalled how he would proudly tell their neighbors that she was his apo. 

"It’s crazy how you would shower your love and support to all of us, and I'm so happy that I still got to say I love you before you went to heaven," Gabbi wrote.

"You have lived a good life, Lolo. Marami ka pong natulungan, napasaya, pinatawa, at minahal. It's time to rest now. Hug Jesus for me, lolo," she added.
