Glaiza de Castro explains 'late night musing' tweet

Contessa star Glaiza de Castro caused a fuss on Twitter last week after she tweeted out loud "late night musings" on work, tardiness, overtime, and compensation.

In the now-deleted tweet she wrote, "Late night musing: Fair ba na kaltasan ka ng sweldo pag na late ka pero sa mahigit 24 oras na pagta trabaho, wala man lang overtime pay?"

It hit a nerve and soon, the Twitterati were tweeting their views, retweeting Glaiza's musings, and asking the Contessa star what the tweet was about. 

Glaiza quickly deleted the tweet and clarified that it was a just "general statement" and that it was not directed to anyone.

"In relation to my recent tweet, bilang ang daming nagtatanong kung para saan ba talaga o para kanin o kung kaning experience, I would like to clarify na it's a general statement," she began.

Glaiza said she was overwhelmed with the response she received and believes it generated such attention because it really happens.

"Nakakaoverwhelm ang dami ng response dahil nangyayari ito sa maraming tao, esp. proletariats."

Glaiza explained that her tweet is a simple observation, and it was not intended to hurt or harm other people.
