Sarah Geronimo apologetic, breaks down at Las Vegas: "Sorry po, pagod po ako"
While singing her breakout hit "Forever's Not Enough" on the fourth leg of her "This 15 Me" US tour in Las Vegas, Sarah Geronimo walked off stage.
In a video posted by YouTube User I Stan Sarah Geronimo, the singer can be seen speaking about her emotional state with the audience. A couple of people were chuckling at first, before realizing that Sarah was talking about a serious matter.
"Ginusto ko pong maibahagi yung talento ko, pero hindi po pala ako handa dun sa mga kasama ng hiningi ko. Lalo na po yung pressure to always do good, maging role model ka, maging perpekto ka ... mahirap po," Sarah said.
As the title of the concert suggests, Sarah has been working in the entertainment industry for 15 years. After winning the reality talent show "Star for a Night" in 2002, Sarah released her first solo album and she has been working non-stop since, maintaining a sweet image throughout her career.
According to Sarah, that hasn't always been the easiest thing to do.
“I’ve been asking myself bakit I feel empty. Hindi 'yong successful na shows or mga hits ang makakapagpakumpleto sa 'yo, ang makakapagpasaya sa 'yo bilang tao, kundi yung tunay na pagmamahal na hindi nagbabago—perpekto ka man o hindi," Sarah said at the show.
She added that she will continue to heed the advice someone gave her about using her talent to glorify God and told her fans that she will forever be grateful for the support they have given.
After the show, her mother Divine was among those who met her backstage, ready with open arms.
"I'm sorry po, pasensiya na talaga," Sarah repeats her apologies to the backstage crowd, who only had kind words for the pop star.
On his Instagram Stories, singer Mark Bautista, who is currently on tour with Sarah, said Sarah gave her all even without sleep.

On his main Instagram, he thanked God "for giving us strength to finish our second show this week even w/o enough sleep!"
Sarah's boyfriend Matteo quickly posted an encouraging message on his Instagram account. — Aya Tantiangco/LA, GMA News
