Exclusive video shows Baron Geisler going amok at brod-in-law’s home
ANGELES CITY—Actor Baron Frederick Von Geisler going amok was caught on video in front of his brother-in-law Michael Robin Stone Morales' house in Barangay Pulung Maragul on Monday.
At one point of the cellphone video, Geisler's sister Grace Gail Geisler-Morales asked him to undergo rehabilitation.
“Baron, accept the help. Minumura mo na si Mommy. Magparehab ka na. You’re not thinking straight," Grace said.
Instead of heeding his sister’s advice, Geisler became even more violent and continued to shout and curse at them.
Angeles City policemen went to the Moraleses' home after Michael reported on the phone that the actor had a kitchen knife and was threatening to kill him.
“He was shouting at the top of his lungs dyan sa labas he was calling my name — Michael Morales, lumabas ka rito, papatayin kita. Nung una, wala pa siyang hawak na kutsilyo. Mamaya, may hawak na siyang kutsilyo," Morales said.
Morales showed GMA News the damage Geisler caused on the gate of their residence because of his continuous banging.
At the police station, Geisler admitted his violent behavior but said he was only provoked by members of his family.
“Lagi ako pino-provoke. Sabi ko tama na. Umabot na 'ko sa boiling point," Geisler said.
SPO3 Celso Nicdao said cases of Grave Threats, Alarm and Scandal and Violation of B.P. 6 (Illegal Possession of Deadly Weapons) had been filed against Geisler.
Geisler faced inquest proceedings on Monday evening at the Angeles Prosecutor’s Office.
Prior to this incident, Geisler posted on social media on Saturday the incident in which he allegedly sustained wounds and bruises on his face after he was allegedly attacked by his brother-in-law and sister.
His brother-in-law, Morales said he became furious after Geisler made unsavory remarks against his daughter Marge.
“Yung ginawa niya sa daughter ko hindi naman sexual harrassment pero sexual verbal assault coming from him, that I couldn’t take," Morales said.
Morales still apologized to Geisler.
“I’m sorry Baron, mahal ka namin but we want help for you. Iuurong ko yung kaso pero ang condition is magpa-rehab ka na," Morales said.
Geisler, however, believes that the source of his family’s anger was the inheritance from their mother — an allegation which was denied by Morales.
“Nilabas ko sa social media yung tungkol sa mana. They came rushing to my house, buksan mo pinto, p— ina ka,” Geisler said.
“Wala talaga akong alam sa isyung yan,” Morales said.
Geisler pleaded to his family and friends to visit him in his detention.
“Come visit me here. I need your support. I’m afraid, I feel alone. I am really doing my best to become a better human being,” Geisler said. —NB, GMA News
