Maine Mendoza celebrates self, as we all probably should, on our birthday

Because modesty has always been valued, wishing ourselves a happy birthday never quite caught on.

Hopefully, Maine Mendoza will change that. At a time when self-love and self-care are among the buzzed words, the Phenomenal Star wished herself some good tidings on her birthday.

On Instagram Saturday, Maine posted a joyful photo of herself in a cheery yellow swimsuit from a recent Zambales trip.

Lest haters mistake this act as arrogance, on Twitter, Maine thanked all her well-wishers and expressed appreciation for being "surrounded by so much love".
