Family asks fans not to take, share photos of Isabel Granada lying in repose
The family of Isabel Granada is asking fans not to take or share photos of the actress lying in repose.
The call comes after photos from the actress' wake began to spread on social media.
In a text message to GMA News, Isabel's friend and colleague Maila Gumila called the spread of the photos "most inconsiderate."
"Isabel's mother, Mommy Gwapa, is devastated about her daughter's untimely demise. She refuses to look at her daughter inside the casket. Imagine if she sees those posted on FB?" Maila added.
Public viewing at Isabel's wake began on Friday at Santuario de San Jose Parish in East Greenhills, Mandaluyong City. The public may also attend her wake from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday. Her cremation is scheduled on Sunday.
Isabel passed away last Saturday, November 4, in Qatar after being in a coma following a brain aneurysm. Her remains arrived in the Philippines on Thursday. —JST, GMA News
