Kris Bernal explores the culinary side of South Korea for her restaurant "Seoul Meat"

Kapuso actress Kris Bernal jetted off to South Korea to explore the culinary side of the country.

Kris is broadening her knowledge on Korean cuisine to help her plan and build her upcoming Korean grill restaurant, "Seoul Meat" in the Philippines.

She was dressed in stylish ensembles while going around the streets of Seoul, sampling its sumptuous street food, riding the train, playing the piano and trying some authentic Korean buffet.

In September, she revealed her plans on opening a new restaurant on Instagram by posting design studies of the possible logos of her new business.

Bernal isn't new to the food business; in September 2016 she opened her first restaurant, a burger joint called "Meat Kris." — Jannielyn Ann Bigtas/LA, GMA News
