Filipinas of 'Style & Substance' grace the cover of a lifestyle magazine
Fierce, strong and independent Filipinas who have been conquering various industries in the country graced the cover of lifestyle magazine PeopleAsia in its August-September issue.
The magazine chose these women as its awardees for "Women of Style & Substance 2017", they described them as "women who break the glass ceiling with power and beauty."
Among those who landed a spot on the list are beauty queens Miss Universe Philippines 2017 Rachel Peters and Binibining Pilipinas International Mariel de Leon joined by supermodel and first Filipina winner of Asia's Next Top Model Maureen Wroblewitz.
Women from the government are also included in the list, among them Quezon City Vice Mayor Joy Belmonte and Agriculture Undersecretary Berna Romulo Puyat.
Other women from different fields are also on the cover including, philanthropist Laurence Ligier of Association Cameleon, Generation Hope's Nanette Medved-Po, Madison Galeries owner Joy Wambangco Rustia, Philippine Airlines Vice President for Marketing Ria Carrion Domingo, Fino's Rose Ann Bautista, Chef Jessie Sincioco, fashion entrepreneur Alou Koa and inspiring youth Geoselle dela Cruz.
