Rafael Rosell exposes his abs, urges you to go vegan

Kapuso star Rafael Rosell is the newest celebrity to pose for an ad for the People for Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) Asia and urge the public to go vegan.

Wearing nothing but white pants and a pair of silver angel wings, the ad comes with an imperative line: “Earn your wings. Go vegan.”

It was shot by top lensman Wesley Villarice with artist Cha Laxamana painting the intricate angel wings.

“You don’t have to lead a sinless life to become an angel for animals,” says Rosell adding that cruelty-free dishes will not only spare countless animals immense pain and terrifying death, but improve your health and combat climate change as well.

PETA Asia notes that the industrialized meat and dairy industries has zero respect for animals’ lives. Chickens’ throats are cut off — often while they’re still alive — piglets’ tails and testicles are chopped off, and calves are taken away from their mothers within hours of birth.

“In addition to the daily suffering of billions of farmed animals, eating meat and other animal-derived foods has been conclusively linked to an increased risk of suffering from heart disease, strokes, diabetes, obesity, and cancer,” a press statement reads. — LA, GMA News
