That dude from 'The Wedding Singer' just bought Sharon Cuneta's California home

More than a year after it was listed on the market, Sharon Cuneta was finally able to let go of her home in Calabasas, California.

The Megastar posted updates about the development on her Facebook page, where she also revealed that the buyer of the house was a Hollywood actor. According to the Los Angeles Times last year, the property was listed at $2.195 million.

"Oh, the new owner of my house in California is one of Adam Sandler's friends, Allen Covert. He has appeared in almost all of Adam's movies," she wrote.

Comedy fans would know Covert best from his role as Sandler's best friend Sammy from "The Wedding Singer."
