Boobay suffers stroke, 'getting better' in ICU says partner

Comedian Boobay is in the intensive care unit after suffering a stroke, his partner revealed on Monday.

Kent Juan Resquir posted an update about Boobay, Norman Balbuena in real life, on Instagram.

"Boobay's condition is getting better. He is conscious and vital signs are stable. Strength of both upper and lower extremities is not impaired. Comprehension is preserved but has trouble speaking fluently," Kent wrote, adding that the comedian is still in Acute Stroke Care for further observation while thanking everyone who sent in prayers.

In a followup, Kent related a conversation between Boobay and Allan K, to show that even after the stroke, the comedian still has not lost a step when it comes to making everyone laugh.
