Singer-comedian Blakdyak found dead in Sampaloc home

Singer and comedian Blakdyak was found dead at a rented room in Sampaloc, Manila on Monday.

Super Radyo dzBB's James Agustin posted a photo of the scene on Twitter.

Blakdyak, who is Joey Formaran in real-life, was found lifeless at around 6 p.m. He was 46.

His son found him in the room naked with a plastic bag wrapped around his head. He was last seen alive at around 2:30 a.m.

According to a report by Mav Gonzales on "State of the Nation," a guard followed Blakdyak up to the rooftop of the building at around 11 p.m. The singer reportedly went back to his room afterwards.

Police said they were not considering foul play in the incident, because the room was locked when Blakdyak was found.

Blakdyak gained fame in the early 2000's for reggae-themed singles such as "Modelong Charing" and "Good Boy." He also starred in several comedies such as "S2pid Luv" and "Weyt a Minut Kapeng Mainit."

In 2014, Blakdyak opened up about his life story in "Tunay na Buhay" with Rhea Santos.
