Michael de Mesa takes on another gender-bending role for movie

Acclaimed actor Michael de Mesa is taking on another gender-bending role for a new movie starring Dennis Trillo, Paolo Ballesteros, and Anne Curtis.

Dennis posted a preview of Michael's look for the film "Bakit Lahat ng Gwapo May Boyfriend?" on Instagram.

Michael has had a long history of playing gay and transgender characters, including in films such as "Kaya Kong Abutin Ang Langit," "Una Kang Naging Akin," and "Jack & Jill."

Most recently, he played gay nightclub owner Georges in last year's staging of "La Cage aux Folles" in Manila and co-starred in GMA's acclaimed drama "Destiny Rose" as a philantrophist that helped the title character make her transformation.
