The Sang'gres of the upcoming Encantadia reboot painted a regal picture as they were presented for the first time during the ToyCon 2016 at the Mall of Asia on Saturday.

Decked in gowns created by designer Francis Libiran, Glaiza de Castro, Kylie Padilla, Gabbi Garcia, and Sanya Lopez dazzled fans as they got in character during their appearance.

The actresses revealed that they were in love with their gowns.

"Feel ko royal talaga ako...Andun na yung aura mo, yung emote mo eh," Gabbi, who will be playing Alena, said after their onstage appearance.

"At saka kung yung gown mismo, napakaganda naman talaga...talagang nandito yung characteristics and and yung personality ng bawat sang'gre," she added.

Sanya likewise stated that the gown invokes a sense of royalty and beauty.

"Feeling ko ang gorgeous ko today," she gushed.

The gowns were patterned after the princesses' elemental powers and personalities.

Gabbi, who will be playing Alena, keeper of the water gem, wore a green gown. Sanya wore yellow, due to her character Danaya's affinity with earth. Glaiza, who will portray fire-wielding Pirena, wore a red gown. Kylie, who is set to play Amihan, the protector of the jewel of wind, wore blue.

Glaiza revealed that wearing the dress helped her get in character.

"Parang automatic na talaga na pag nakita mo sarili mo sa mirror, sang'gre ka na. Controlled na yung mga galaw mo. Feeling namin galing talaga kaming ibang lugar," she said.

However, Kylie revealed that wearing the dress is rather difficult.

"If I can be honest, sobrang nakaka-demure siya eh, royal. Pero mabigat!" she said.

"Ganoon pala yun pag royal ka, may dala-dala kang kurtina. Pero sobrang ganda. Ang ganda ng design," she added. — APG, GMA News
