Albert Martinez's daughter gets engaged at Mt. Everest basecamp

Alyanna Martinez, the eldest daughter of Albert Martinez and his late wife Liezel, is set to tie the know with her boyfriend Roy Macam.

The stylist shared the beautiful occasion on her Instagram account with a photo of her engagement ring right after Roy popped the question at the basecamp of Mt. Everest.

 

Dec. 3, 2015 will definitely be a day I will never forgot for the following reasons: 1. Survived my extreme #AlyannasAdventureto30 2. Arrived at #EverestBaseCamp on my birthday 3. Now engaged to my best friend & forever adventure partner I am 30 *gulp* I made it to Everest Base Camp w/ my own two feet while the rest of the super hikers we started with didnt due to AMS (mountain sickness) And I am now engaged *double gulp* It is alot to take in and I am still trying to accept my new reality. But heres to a new and exciting chapter of my life and I cant wait to start it w/ you by my side @roymacam ???????? P.S. I am still amazed my @idonailsservice gel nails lasted till Base Camp and back! Woohoo ????????

In her post, Alyanna revealed that the engagement happened last Dec. 3, when she arrived at the basecamp for her 30th birthday.

"I made it to Everest Base Camp w/ my own two feet while the rest of the super hikers we started with didnt due to AMS (mountain sickness)," she wrote.

"And I am now engaged *double gulp*."

Alyanna added that was looking forward to "a new and exciting chapter of my life and I cant wait to start it w/ you by my side @roymacam" —JST, GMA News
