Celebrities, personalities mourn passing of Elizabeth Ramsey

Ibinahagi ng Queen of Soul at 'Marimar' star na si Jaya ang pagpanaw ng kaniyang ina at tinaguriang 'Queen of Rock and Roll' na si Elizabeth Ramsey ngayong Huwebes.

Matapos magkaroon ng ilang komplikasyon sa kalusugan ngayon taon kabilang na ang pag-atake ng hyperglycemia o pagtaas ng glucose sa dugo, tuluyan nang namaalam ang batikang aktres at komedyante na nakilala dahil sa kaniyang mga nakatutuwang linyang Bisaya.

Ayon sa Facebook post ng anak niyang si Jaya, pumanaw ang kaniyang ina sa edad na 83 habang natutulog.

“Mama Beth is now with our Lord... 83 years has been full. Love and laughter, she has given not just our family but the whole nation. Thank you for your love and prayers and I rejoice because she passes in her sleep. In peace,” aniya.

Kasabay ng pagdadalamhati ng pamilya ni Elizabeth, nakiramay ang ilan sa mga artista at personalidad na nakatrabaho at nakasama ng komedyante noong nabubuhay pa ito.

I love you tita #elizabethramsey ! She is like a mother to me. Nakakaiyak, biglang naalala ko when we are doing a sitcom with viva films ...was just starting with my career... She told me, " iha don't worry, all your hard work will pay off. You will make it and sisikat ka! She made us laugh out loud. I adore you Tita and to my kumare and kumpare ...
