Eat Bulaga posts four times the rating of competitor

AlDub fever is unstoppable.

Eat Bulaga posted its highest rating of the year on Wednesday as viewers anticipated the near-meeting of Yaya Dub and Alden Richards.

The longest running noontime show drew a 36.1 rating on GMA-7 in AGB Nielsen's Mega Manila measures.

Underscoring the show's dominance, the rating was more than four times the that of it's competitor, It's Showtime, on ABS-CBN, which drew 8.8.

Eat Bulaga was also the top-rated show on television - daytime or primetime - for the day in Mega Manila.

Wednesday's episode saw Yaya Dub visit Broadway Centrum for the first time to perform in the #BulagaPaMore segment. But Alden was still unable to come face to face with his lady love after failing to make it to the studio in time after facing a challenge set by Lola Nidora, who seems hellbent on keeping the couple apart.
