Howie Severino  

Seasoned reporter, journalist, and documentarist Howie has been in the media since 1988. He studied in Tufts University in Massachusetts with a degree of Bachelor of Science in History; he graduated magna cum laude. Aside from being an anchor (News To Go) and host (I-Witness), Howie also serves as GMA’s Vice President for Professional Development. 

 
 
 
 
Pia Arcangel-Halili

Pia started her career as a courtside reporter for UAAP. She then hosted the educational show Art Angel, together with Tonipet Gaba and Krystal Reyes. This 2014, Pia joins Igan Arnold Clavio as Saksi anchor. 
 
 
 



 
Kara David

One of the country’s most awarded journalists, Kara graduated cum laude with a degree of Broadcast Communications from University of the Philippines, Diliman. She started working as a production staff in 1995 before she became a reporter for Brigada Siete. Kara hosts Powerhouse and News To Go. In 2002, Kara founded Project Malasakit, an NGO that helps send Filipino youths to school. 
 
 
 


 
Rhea Santos

Rhea has been a host of GMA’s morning show Unang Hirit for 13 years now. One of her early shows in GMA was Frontpage: Ulat ni Mel Tiangco in 2003. In 2005, she hosted Pinoy Abroad with Ivan Mayrina. Rhea presently hosts Tunay Na Buhay aside from Unang Hirit. 
 
 


 
Raffy Tima

Reporter and anchor Raffy Tima has already reported from several conflict areas like Sulu, Zamboanga, Afghanistan, and Iraq. Last year, Raffy married fellow GMA reporter Mariz Umali. Ivan Mayrina

Ivan, who was a graduate of Communication Research from UP Diliman, also covered the Zamboanga siege September of last year. Ivan’s wife is also a journalist with whom he has two kids.

 
 

 
Cesar Apolinario

Aside from being a reporter and host of iJuander, Cesar is also an award-winning director. He won Best Director in the 2007 Metro Manila Film Festival for his first movie Banal. 
 
 

 
 
Tina Panganiban-Perez

Tina started reporting via Brigada Siete in 1993, making her a veteran in the media industry. She received numerous awards including a recognition from Rotary Golden Wheel Awards in 2012.
 
 


 
Aubrey Carampel

Always updated with showbiz happenings, that’s Chika Minute’s Aubrey Carampel! A consistent honor student, Aubrey finished Communication Arts from College of the Holy Spirit. She used to work as a collections officer and call center agent before joining QTV’s May Trabaho Ka. She emerged winner and it became the start of her career as a showbiz correspondent. 
 
 
 


 
Cata Tibayan

Cata is slowly making a name for herself in the showbiz news scene. A graduate of De La Salle University, she is GMA News’ showbiz correspondent and one of Chika Minute’s anchors. — GMANetwork.com
