Lawyer posts photos of 'battered' Claudine's face before and after makeup
Days after a photo shoot featuring the actress showing wounds on her thighs, the lawyer of Claudine Barretto posted on Twitter undated photos of her with bruises on her face, demonstrating how they were supposedly hidden with makeup.
Ferdinand Topacio, responding to a a blog questioning whether Claudine's thigh wounds were fabrications, posted the undated images of the actress on Sunday night.

Topacio added: "Now, the finished product. We are not making this up. The scars have been there all along. In conclusion, no woman would deliberately make herself ugly. Who inflicted them? I leave it to you guys."
In a report by Nelson Canlas on "24 Oras" last Friday, Claudine bared that she had been keeping the wounds secret while getting treatment. According to her, even her family does not now about the injuries.
"Ina-accept ko na battered wife ako, so para makatulong ding sa iba lumabas na rin ako," she said.
She refused to identify who inflicted the wounds on her, but noted that it was part of her case involving the violence against women and their children act.
The camp of Claudine's estranged husband Raymart Santiago, meanwhile, refused to comment on the matter until the actor is directly implicated by name to the issue. — JST, GMA News
