Class, gov't work suspensions for Friday, November 15, 2024

Classes and work in government offices for Friday, November 15, 2024, have been suspended in some areas due to the possible effects of Severe Tropical Storm Pepito, which entered the Philippine Area of Responsibility Thursday evening.

Below are the local government units that have announced the suspension of classes and government work:

CORDILLERA AUTONOMOUS REGION 

• Mountain Province
  • Paracelis - kinder to grade 12, public and private

REGION II (Cagayan Valley)

• Cagayan - all levels, public and private
• Isabela
  • Echague - all levels, public and private
  • San Isidro - all levels, public and private; work in government offices
  • Santiago City - all levels, public and private
• Quirino - all levels, public and private

REGION IV-A (CALABARZON)

• Batangas
  • Alitagtag - all levels, public and private
  • Cuenca - preschool to senior high school - all levels, public and private

REGION IV-B (MIMAROPA)

• Occidental Mindoro
  • Mamburao - all levels, public and private, until November 18

REGION V (Bicol)

• Albay province – all levels, public and private from 12 noon, November 14, until lifted; work in government offices except those related to public safety, disaster risk reduction, health, and related services
• Camarines Norte - all levels, public and private; government offices except those involved in the delivery of basic and health services, disaster preparedness/response, and other vital services
• Camarines Sur - all levels, public and private

                 Naga City - government and private sector work suspended starting 12 noon

• Catanduanes province – all levels, public and private; government offices except those involved in the delivery of basic and health services, disaster preparedness/response, and other vital services
• Masbate - all levels, public and private
• Sorsogon - all levels, public and private

REGION VIII (Eastern Visayan)

• Biliran
  • Naval - all levels, public and private; no work in government offices
• Eastern Samar
  • Guiuan - all levels, public and private
• Northern Samar - all levels, public and private
• Samar
  • Damar - all levels, public and private
