Class suspensions for Monday, October 28, 2024

Classes for Monday, October 28, 2024 have been suspended in some areas due to the effects of Severe Tropical Kristine.

• Camarines Sur province - all levels, public and private

While the provinces of Albay and Camarines Norte have announced the resumption of classes on Monday, the Department of Education - Region V said that in-person classes may remain suspended for flooded schools and areas.

"Teachers, school heads and personnel whose houses are still submerged or underwater may adopt an alternative work scheme or work from home scheme and may not [be forced] to report for work except if their presence is necessary for processing and release of salaries and benefits of employees," it said. "School heads need to inform their respective Schools Division Superintendents on the status of their schools."
