Class suspensions for Monday, September 2, 2024

Classes have been suspended in the following areas on Monday, September 2, 2024, due to the Tropical Storm Enteng (international name: Yagi).

• Bataan - all levels, public and private
• Naga City, Camarines Sur - all levels, public and private
• Camarines Norte - all levels, public and private; work in government and private sector suspended except for government offices involved in vital and emergency responses
• Cavite - all levels, public and private
• Kidapawan City, Cotabato - all levels, public and private
• Laguna - all levels, public and private; modular distance learning or online mode of classes recommended
• San Pascual, Masbate - all levels, public and private
• National Capital Region - all levels, public and private
• Angeles City, Pampanga - face-to-face classes suspended in all levels, public and private; alternative modes of instruction allowed
• San Fernando, Pampanga - no face-to-face classes at all levels, public and private; online or any applicable alternative learning modality permitted
• Quezon province - all levels, public and private; work in government offices and private sector including Lucena City and Tayabas City suspended; However, work in government offices whose primary function pertains to delivery health care services, maintenance of peace and order, and disaster response is not suspended
• Rizal - all levels, public and private; schools may shift to modular/distance learning for learning continuity
• Northern Samar - all levels, public and private
• Sorsogon City, Pilar, Casiguran, Sta. Magdalena, Bulusan, Matnog, Castilla, Bulan, Magallanes, Sorsogon - all levels, public and private
• Valenzuela City - work in government offices suspended except for emergency response units
