Class suspensions for Monday, May 27, 2024

Classes for Monday, May 27, 2024, have been suspended in some areas due to bad weather caused by Typhoon Aghon.
Below are the class suspensions for Monday, May 27:
Metro Manila
- Las Piñas City - face-to-face classes in all levels, public and private; online or asynchronous classes encouraged
- Malabon City - all levels, public and private
- Taguig City - preschool to senior high school, public and private
- Valenzuela City - storm signal no. 1 means no classes (neither in-person nor online) for kinder to senior high school, public and private; online classes only for tertiary level, public and private
Provinces
- Aurora - all levels, public and private; government work suspended as well except for those in the health services, peace and order, and disaster response.
- Laurel, Batangas - all levels, public and private
- Tanauan, Batangas - all levels, public and private
- Carmona, Cavite - all levels, public and private
- Gapan, Nueva Ecija - all levels, public and private
- Laguna - all levels, public and private
- Quezon - all levels; government work suspended as well except for those in the health services, peace and order, and disaster response.
Aghon made landfall over Patnanungan Island in Quezon on Sunday evening, with Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal (TCWS) No. 3 raised over the Polillo Islands.
On Monday morning at 5 a.m., TCWS No. 2 was raised over parts of Isabela, Aurora and Polillo Islands as Typhoon Aghon intensifies over the Philippine Sea east of Aurora, PAGASA said.
