Class suspensions for Friday, May 3, 2024

Face-to-face classes in some areas for Friday, May 3, 2024 have been suspended due to extreme heat conditions.

Schools in these areas have been advised to shift to asynchronous classes or alternative learning modalities. In the areas where private schools are not specified, the suspension of in-person classes is left to the discretion of school authorities.

• Malabon City - public
• City of Manila - elementary and high school, public
• Muntinlupa City - kinder to Grade 12, public
• Navotas City - all levels, public and private
• Pasay City - all levels, public and private
• Quezon City - heat index forecast to reach 40°C. Alternative delivery modes of learning implemented in public schools once heat index reaches 40°C
• San Juan City - all levels, public and private
• Valenzuela City - kinder to Grade 12, public

• Bacoor City, Cavite - all levels, public and private
• General Emilio Aguinaldo, Cavite - elementary and secondary, public and private 
• Imus, Cavite - all levels, public and private (May 2-4)
• Indang, Cavite - preschool to senior high school, public (May 2-10)
• Mendez, Cavite - all levels, public and private
• Morong, Rizal - all levels, public and private
• San Pedro, Laguna - all levels, public (May 2-4)
• Sta. Rosa, Laguna - elementary and secondary, public and private
