Class suspensions or shift to modular classes for Monday, October 9, 2023


Classes in parts of Batangas, Laguna and Rizal for Monday, October 9, 2023 have either been suspended or will shift to modular distance learning due to volcanic smog from Taal Volcano.

According to the Office of Civil Defense CALABARZON in a post, classes in all levels (except where indicated) and in both public and private schools in the following areas will be suspended or shift from face-to-face to modular distance learning on Monday:

Batangas

  • Agoncillo - shift to modular distance learning
  • Alitagtag - shift to modular distance learning
  • Balayan
  • Balete
  • Batangas City - shift to modular distance learning
  • Bauan - shift to modular distance learning
  • Calaca City - shift to modular distance learning
  • Calatagan
  • Cuenca - shift to modular distance learning
  • Ibaan
  • Laurel - shift to modular distance learning
  • Lemery - shift to modular distance learning
  • Lian - shift to modular distance learning
  • Lipa City - shift to modular distance learning
  • Lobo - shift to modular distance learning
  • Malvar - shift to modular distance learning
