Canceled sea trips on Friday, Sept. 26, 2025

The Philippine Ports Authority (PPA) on Friday, September 26, 2025, announced that several trips were canceled due to rough sea conditions amid inclement weather brought by Severe Tropical Storm “Opong.”

The canceled sea trips are as follows:

The PPA clarified that it does not cancel trips, adding that trips are automatically canceled if the Philippine Coast Guard issues a “no sail policy” based on the weather forecast of PAGASA.

It added that shipping lines may also cancel trips subject to compliance with the terms of their Certificate of Public Convenience issued by the Maritime Industry Authority. —VAL, GMA Integrated News
