MMDA: Number coding suspended on Nov. 11, 2024 due to Nika
The expanded number coding scheme in Metro Manila is suspended on Monday, November 11 amid the bad weather caused by Severe Tropical Storm Nika, the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) said.
“Suspendido ang pagpapatupad ng Expanded Unified Vehicular Volume Reduction Program (UVVRP) o number coding scheme sa Lunes, Nobyembre 11, dahil sa inaasahang epekto ng Severe Tropical Storm #NikaPH,” MMDA said in an advisory

According to the latest PAGASA tropical cyclone bulletin, Metro Manila is under Signal No. 1.
Areas under Signal No. 1 may experience winds of 39-61 km/h may be expected in at least 36 hours, which can cause very light or no damage to low risk structures.
According to PAGASA, Nika is seen to make landfall over Isabela or Aurora on Monday morning or early afternoon.
It was last located 335 km east-northeast of Infanta, Quezon or 330 km East of Baler, Aurora, moving west northwestward at 15 km/h. — Mariel Celine Serquiña/BM, GMA Integrated News
