Road closures, reblocking in Metro Manila for Undas 2024

The local government units (LGU) in Metro Manila have released the traffic advisories to avoid build up in line with the observance of All Saints’ Day on Nov. 1 and All Souls’ Day of Nov. 2. 

Pasig City

(Oct. 30 to Nov. 1)

One way traffic scheme along C. Raymond Avenue from E. Angeles St. to Mercedes Ave. going northbound

Malabon

(Oct. 30 to Nov. 2) 

Closed road from Lascano St. corner MH Del Pilar.

Vehicles from MH Del Pilar going to P. Aquino Street may go through Plata Street then turn left at Aluminio Street.

Meanwhile, vehicles from Plata Street gong to MH Del Pilar pass by Acero Street then turn right at Plata Street exiting MH Del Pilar Street.

San Juan

(Nov. 1 to 3)

Re-routing scheme along Boni Serrano Ave.

Mandaluyong

• Roman Catholic Cemetery (San Felipe Neri)

All vehicles bound to Kalentong from Boni Avenue turn RIGHT at Ortigas St., then Left to T. Bernardo Street, straight ahead to P. Gomez St. down to A. Luna St., then turn right to Aglipay to the destination.

All vehicles going to Boni Avenue (eastbound) coming from Kalentong, use the westbound lane of Boni Avenue in front of the cemetery, then straight ahead to Boni Avenue.

All vehicle no entry at Martinez St. in front of the cemetery.

No vehicle is allowed to park in front of the cemetery (eastbound).
 

• Aglipay Cemetery (Garden Of Life Park)

All vehicles coming from Ilino Cruz St. going to Kalentong turn left to Aglipay Extension thru Boni Avenue.

All vehicles coming from Kalentong St. going to Aglipay Cemetery and Paradise Cemetery take Boni Avenue, then turn right to P. Cruz.

All vehicles coming from Barangay Namayan and Barangay Mabini-J. Rizal going to Boni Ave., City Hall or Shaw Blvd., take J.P. Rizal thru Coronado St., turn left to San Francisco St. to destination. 

Tricycles - no entry from P. Cruz - Lerma Sts. up to Liberty Flour Mills. Take P. Cruz then turn right to Lerma St. and right to Canteras St. and back to P. Cruz.

Tricycles - no entry from Coronado St. bound for Garden of Life Cemetery, up to Saniboy only, unload passengers, then make a U-turn and back to Aglipay.

No vehicles are allowed to park in front of the cemetery (east & west bound).

One-way  – Aglipay St. (from Parada going to Boni Avenue)

One-way  – Parada St. (from P. Cruz to Aglipay)
 

Makati

Road Closures:

1. Kalayaan Avenue – Section from Zapote Street to N. Garcia Street will be closed to traffic and designated for pedestrian use only.

2. South Avenue – Section from J.P. Avenue to Metropolitan Avenue will be closed to traffic and designated for pedestrian use only.

3. Vito Cruz Avenue Extension – Section from South Avenue to Zapote Street will be closed to traffic and designated for pedestrian use only.

4. Pililla Street – Section from Kalayaan Avenue to Baler Street will be closed to traffic and designated for pedestrian use, with access only to designated parking areas.

Vehicle Rerouting:

1. J.P. Rizal Avenue – From Makati Avenue to Pasong Tirad Street, temporarily converted to two-way traffic flow.

2. Zapote Street – From J.P. Rizal Avenue to Metropolitan Avenue, temporarily converted to two-way traffic flow.

3. Vito Cruz Avenue Extension – From Pasong Tamo Avenue to Zapote Street, converted to one-way eastward towards South Cemetery. One side of Vito Cruz Extension (north side curb) will be designated as a parking area.

4. Metropolitan Avenue – From South Avenue to N. Garcia Street, converted to one-way traffic. One side of Metropolitan Avenue (north side curb) will be designated as a parking area.

Manila

Road closure and re-routing near Manila South Cemetery from Oct. 31 (12:01 a.m.) to Nov. 2 (12 a.m.).

1. Stretch of Aurora Blvd. from Dimasalang Rd. to Rizal Ave.

2. Stretch of Blumentritt Rd. from A. Bonifacio Rd. to P. Guevarra St.

3. Stretch of Retiro St. from Dimasalang Rd. to Blumentritt Ext.

4. Stretch of Maceda St. from Makiling St. to Dimasalang Rd.

5. Stretch of Dimasalang Rd. from Makiling St. to Blumentritt Rd.

6. Stretch of P. Guevarra St. from Cavite St. to Aurora Blvd.

Rerouting of vehicles are as follows:

1. For La Loma and Chinese Cemeteries take the stretch of Rizal Ave. or J. Abad Santos Ave. as your point of entrance or exit (vice versa).

2. All vehicles coming from Blumentritt Rd. shall turn left to Cavite St. or right to Cavite St. then turn right to Leonor Rivera to point of destination.

3. All trailer trucks/heavy vehicles coming from A.H. Lacson Ave. intending to utilize Dimasalang Rd., shall go straight to Yuseco St. to point of destination (vice versa).

4. All vehicles coming from Dimasalang Rd. intending to utilize Blumentritt Rd. shall turn right to Makiling St., straight to Blumentritt Ext. to point of destination.

Valenzuela

Here is the traffic advisory for the following cemeteries from Oct. 31 to Nov. 1

Polo Catholic Cemetery and Polo Memorial Park

1. M.H, Del Pilar rd. is No Parking  zone (both sides) anytime
2. F. Valenzuela Street is one-way and prohibits parking 
3. Designated one-side parking  allowed only at F. Lozada St.  (Lozville) & F. Valenzuela cor.  Zone5, Fortune Street. 
4. Vendors are allowed in Maligaya Street within white line only
5. Pedicabs are exempted to oneway scheme along  F. Valenzuela Street

Arkong Bato Cemetery
1. M.H.Del Pilar rd. remains two-way traffic
2. All vehicles "no enrty" along Cordero St. to Arkong  Bato Cemetery. 

Ever Memorial Garden
1. NLEX Service Road going  to Ever Memorial Garden  remains a two-way  traffic and a "No  Parking" zone  (bothsides) anytime.
2. Sapang Bakaw St.  remains a two-way  traffic and a "No  Parking  zone  (bothsides) anytime.
3. One Way traffic along A. Casimiro going to Sapang  Bakaw St.
4. One way traffic along A.  Casimiro Street.
5. Temporary Terminal located beside cemetery  gate 

Karumatan Public Cemetery, Saint John Cemetery,Saint Perpetua Cemetery, and Saint Angelus Cemetery 
1. Karuhatan Road shall remain two-way  traffic and a No Parking zone (both sides) anytime
2. Maysan Road shall remain two-way  traffic and a No Parking zone (Both sides) anytime. 
3. Padrigal St. to corner NLEX Service road will be closed to all types of vehicles.
4. G. Marcelo St. will be CLOSED to ALL VEHICLES from corner G. Marcelo St. to  corner NLEX service road effective on  Nov. 1, 2024.  

Arkong Bato Cemetery
1. M.H.Del Pilar Rd. remains  a two-way traffic, no  parking zone (both sides).
2. One-side parking  (right  side) along Decena St.,  N. Urrutia St., San Diego  St. and S. Navarette St. 
3. All vehicles "NO ENTRY"  along Cordero St. to Arkong  Bato Cemetery. 

Valenzuela Memorial Park
1. T. Santiago St. and C. Santiago St.  remain a two-way tr affic and a "No  Parking zone" (both sides) anytime. 
2. C. Molina St. will be ONE-WAY traffic  from corner T. Santiago St. going to Valenzuela Memorial Park. All vehicles  shall exit to Meycauayan.
3. Alternative route to Mc Arthur  Highway will be at Bangcal Ext. and  Brgy. Tugatog, Meycauayan City.  4. Parking area at Memorial Park only  and other private pay-parking lots. 
5. Designated terminal situated in front of Meralco Office. 
6. One-way Scheme will be implemented  by NOV. 1, 2024 only  

Marikina

One-way traffic  to the country side or Marikina City proper start Oct. 31 (12 p.m.) to Nov. 1 (12 a.m.)

Back to two-way traffic in A. Bonifacio Ave on Nov. 3 (12:01 a.m.)
