NLEX to partially close some lanes for repairs

Some lanes of the North Luzon Expressway (NLEX) will be partially closed to motorists for repairs, the NLEX Corporation announced.

A 100-meter lane on NLEX Balagtas northbound before the Tabang Exit ramp in Bulacan will be temporarily closed for gantry installation works, the company said.

The leftmost lane (Lane 1) will be closed on the following dates:

• Sept. 23: 9 a.m.-5 p.m.
• Sept. 23: 8 p.m-Sept. 24, 5 p.m.
• Sept. 25: 9 a.m.-5 p.m.
• Sept. 25: 8 p.m.-Sept. 26, 5 p.m.
• Sept. 26: 8 p.m.-Sept. 27, 5 p.m.

Also to be closed is a 100-meter lane at the NLEX Mapulang Lupa southbound area before NLEX Harbor Link Interchange in Valenzuela for gantry installation works.

The leftmost lane (Lane 1) will be closed on the following dates:

• Sept. 24: 8 p.m. -Sept. 25, 5 a.m.
• Sept. 25: 8 p.m.-Sept. 26, 5 a.m.
• Sept. 26: 8 p.m.-Sept. 27, 5 a.m.

Also in Valenzuela, a 100-meter lane will be closed at the NLEX Torres Bugallon Bridge northbound area before NLEX Harbor Link Interchange, for gantry installation works.

The leftmost lane (Lane 1) will be closed on:

• Sept. 24: 9 a.m.-5 p.m.
• Sept. 24: 8 p.m.-Sept. 25, 5 a.m.
• Sept. 25: 9 a.m.-5 p.m.
• Sept. 25: 8 p.m.-Sept. 26, 5 a.m.
• Sept. 26: 9 a.m.-5 p.m.
• Sept. 26: 8 p.m.-Sept. 27, 5 a.m.

Meanwhile, in Angeles, Pampanga, the Abacan Bridge southbound will undergo repair work.

The NLEX Corporation said it will implement the following temporary closures:

• Sept. 23: 10 a.m.-Sept. 28, 4 p.m. for Lane 2 (rightmost lane)
• Sept. 30: 10 a.m.-Oct. 5, 4 p.m. for the outer shoulder
