Part of Roxas Blvd. to close on Sunday


A portion of Roxas Boulevard in Manila will be closed on Sunday

A portion of Roxas Boulevard in Manila will be closed on Sunday for the celebration of the Philippine Civil Service's 124th Anniversary (PCSA).

The northbound and southbound lanes between Padre Burgos Street and Quirino Avenue will be impassable from 3 a.m. to 7:30 a.m. for the PCSA fun run.

“VibeRun: Takbo para sa mga Servant-Heroes,” aims to "foster physical and mental well-being" among civil servants working in various government agencies as part of the celebration of the month-long PCSA in September.

Affected motorists may take the following alternative routes: 

  • All vehicles coming from Bonifacio Drive intending to utilize the southbound lane of Roxas Boulevard shall turn left to P. Burgos Avenue to point of destination.  
  • All vehicles coming from three (3) bridges (Jones, MacArthur, Quezon) intending to utilize the southbound lane of Roxas Boulevard shall go straight to Taft Avenue to point of destination. 
  • All vehicles traversing the westbound lane of P. Burgos Avenue shall turn right at Bonifacio Drive or make a U-turn to the eastbound lane of P. Burgos Avenue to point of destination.  
  • All vehicles traversing the westbound lane of TM Kalaw Street, going to Roxas Boulevard, shall turn left to M.H. Del Pilar Street, to point of destination.  
  • All vehicles traversing the westbound lane of UN Avenue going to Roxas Boulevard shall turn left to M.H. Del Pilar Street or utilize Roxas Boulevard Service Road to point of destination. 
  • All vehicles traversing the westbound lane of President Quirino Avenue, utilizing the southbound lane of Roxas Boulevard, shall turn left at Adriatico Street, right to Vito Cruz Street, then turn left to F.B. Harrison Street, to point of destination
