NLEX issues traffic advisory as INC celebrates anniversary in Bulacan

The NLEX Corp. on Saturday advised motorists to take alternate routes because of the expected traffic as the Iglesia ni Cristo (INC) celebrates its 110th anniversary at the Ciudad de Victoria in Bulacan.
In an advisory, the NLEX Corp. said traffic personnel will be deployed to provide assistance at designated areas during the event, which will be held from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
"Please expect high volume of traffic in the area during this date. Motorists are encouraged to take alternate routes and allow more time for travel," the advisory read.
The Ciudad de Victoria complex, home of the massive Philippine Arena and Philippine Sports Stadium, is accessible via the NLEX Ciudad de Victoria exit.
The company's latest update as of 9 a.m. indicated that traffic was light at the Balintawak and Bocaue toll plazas. Traffic flow was the same at the northbound side of Lias, Marilao after the site was cleared from a previous vehiclar accident.
President Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr. on Saturday encouraged members of the Iglesia ni Cristo to continue inspiring their communities, strengthening their faith, and working towards achieving a prosperous future for the country.
The INC was founded in 1914 in Manila by Felix Y. Manalo.
