PAL says July 5 flight to LA did not take off due to technical issue

Philippine Airlines confirmed on Saturday that its Flight PR102 from Manila to Los Angeles was not able to take off on Friday night due to a technical issue.

The plane had "tire deflation", according to PAL spokesperson Cielo Villaluna.

"All 361 passengers were safely deplaned and provided hotel accommodations," she said.

PAL has arranged a replacement flight to Los Angeles to accommodate the passengers of the affected flight.

"The new flight is scheduled to depart at 2:00PM today (06 July)," Villaluna said.

The company apologized for the inconvenience caused by the incident. —KG, GMA Integrated News
