Canceled flights on Tuesday, June 4, 2024 due to Kanlaon Volcano eruption

Airline companies advised passengers to check the status of their flights as they announced the cancellation of some flights for Tuesday, June 4, 2024, due to the eruption of Kanlaon Volcano.

Cebu Pacific announced the cancellation of the following flights:

• 5J 453/454: Manila – Iloilo – Manila
• 5J 248/247: General Santos - Iloilo - General Santos
• 5J 164/165: Cebu – Iloilo – Cebu
• 5J 696/695: Cagayan - Iloilo - Cagayan
• 5J 473/474: Manila – Bacolod - Manila
• 5J 451/452: Manila – Iloilo – Manila

Philippine Airlines (PAL) has also posted an advisory for passengers.

"We are closely monitoring the situation in view of the eruption of Mount Kanlaon," the company said.

Philippine Airlines announced the cancellation of the following flights:

04JUN2024 MANILA HUB:

• PR2841/2842 Manila - Cebu - Manila
• PR2139/2140 Manila - Iloilo - Manila
• PR2835 Manila - Cebu
• PR2129/2130 Manila - Bacolod - Manila

04JUN2024 CEBU HUB

• PR2380/2381 Cebu - Iloilo - Cebu
• PR2285/2286 Cebu - Bacolod - Cebu

The Manila International Airport Authority said the following flights for Tuesday, June 4, are also canceled:

AirAsia (Z2)

• Z2 761/762: Manila-Cebu-Manila
• Z2 603/604: Manila-Bacolod-Manila
• Z2 306/307: Manila-Iloilo-Manila

PAL Express:

• 2P 2841/2842 Manila-Cebu-Manila
• 2P 2139/2140 Manila-Iloilo-Manila
• 2P 2129/2130 Manila–Bacolod-Manila
• 2P 2131/2132 Manila-Bacolod-Manila
• 2P 2141/2142 Manila-Iloilo-Manila
• 2P 2905/2906 Manila-San Jose, Antique-Manila
• 2P 2835 Manila-Cebu
• 2P 2836 Cebu-Manila

Meanwhile, the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) on Tuesday said all morning flights (inbound and outbound) at Bacolod-Silay Airport have been canceled due to Kanlaon Volcano's eruption.

CAAP also said airline station managers informed them that afternoon flights may resume depending on the activity of Kanlaon Volcano.
